The Hotel
Family vacation deluxe on a 30 ha area. Gorgeous location – off the traffic and with superb view over the village/place as well as the Hinterglemm alpine world. Amidst beautiful, lush meadows the Ellmauhof offers you an activity vacation with a focus on relaxation. All family apartments, - rooms and hotel suites are fully renovated respectively newly built and leave nothing to be desired in terms of comfortable accomodation.

Culinary Delights
Taking a seat on the cushioned barstool, swinging the glass to your heart's content while testing and tasting the fine wines in the stylish and modern atmosphere of our wine tavern.
Start your day with a delicious organic breakfast as available in abundance in our buffet, afterwards we provide you with a snack for lunch as well as a further snack and cake in the afternoon. We will gladly do everything for your comfort in our Zirben- or Salzburger Stube (parlor) as well as in the rote Galerie (The Red Gallery). Of course gourmandizing is also possible in our Reiterstube.

In the evening hours we serve you a 4-course evening dinner of choice with a separate Well(ness) and Fit(ness) meal, salad and bread will be available at the buffet. The kids will have their own evening meal - also available at their very own buffet. Juice bar for kids and adults as well as an extensive tea buffet including various types of coffee such as cappucino and latte macchiato for mum and dad. We also offer a buffet for babies with organic meals by 'Hipp', various sorts of porridge, cookies, ladyfingers and fruit for the little ones.

Leisure Time:
1500 qm of fun – including a spa area with an indoor adventure pool plus whitewater passage, couches for massage and a giant tunnel slide (52sqm), spacious sauna area, relaxation spot with 360° panoramic view, adventure path, well-spaced massage & beauty compartment, fitness room furnished with the latest tools by Technogym. Heated outdoor pool with slide and separate pool for kids, lawns for sunbathing with sunshades and comfy loungers. Assisted sports and hiking program for teens as well as adults, monday to friday, kids program with fun games, decorating t-shirts, tours for kids and teens.

2 adventure playgrounds with go-kart track, a ropeway slide, a mudpark, Space-Ball for climbing, a beach volleyball court with floodlights, sandpits and for lovers of golfing there is a golf course in close proximity.

Inside of the Hotel you will have fun in our new Gipsyland Activity Hall including a climbing wall, adventure castle, slides, a lego corner, basketball and table tennis facilities, a Playstation room, table soccer, a Chill Lounge plus Nintendo Wii, a leisure room plus billard table, Airhockey and Darts for the teens.

Farmhouse Adventure: The pets in the heated rooms of our petting zoo are looking forward to your visit! Facility includes slide, sandpit and a kids farm. Opportunity to fish for fresh salmon in our fishing pond. A miniature farm is in place – inviting the kids to start their very own adventure as farmers.

For the duration of your stay at Family Resort Ellmauhof the Saalbach Hinterglemm the JOKER CARD will be included.

Horse Riding Kindergarten for Little Beginners
Just 3 years old and already on horseback? Sure thing! There is no such thing as 'too early' for familiarizing kids with animals. Besides, riding lessons for 3-6 year olds are perfectly organized so that parents never have to worry about anything. After an extensive warm-up session on the ground the kids will first practice on our wooden horses Steffi and Herkules. In this way, the kids will carefully acquire the necessary skills for proper posture and handling of the animals. As soon as the training proves successful the children will be permitted onto a real horse – for this purpose we do of course choose the most tender and patient animal from the stable.

Little Riders - Big Fun
Extensive care is most important when the little kids have their first encounter with horses. We always allow just one kid on the back of a real horse – one riding teacher keeps hold of the lunge, the other is right beside the kid providing it with instructions. To prevent the remaining kids from getting bored while watching, two nannies stay with them for entertainment. The first riding lessons thus turn into an unforgettable adventure for your little ones. Alpine world – an exceptional highlight for the whole family!
